A new rumor has surfaced regarding The Mandalorian and it involves the inclusion of fan-favorite Star Wars creatures, Wookiees.

The rumor originated from Bespin Bulletin claiming that Wookiees have been spotted on the set of the series. They shared the post below on Instagram, with the note, “Wookiee or Wookiees possibly appearing in ‘The Mandalorian’ season 3! When will Mando begin filming?”

I have no idea if this is true, but The Mandalorian Season 3 did start shooting this month, and anything is possible! Hell, if Luke Skywalker can show up, so can a Wookiee. The question is… could Chewbacca show up? Of course, he could! Will here, though? That has yet to be seen.

Bespin Bulletin shares, “Last year I heard rumors that a Wookiee or Wookiees may appear in The Mandalorian. I’ve heard of a Wookiee showing up again as of late from a secondary source and even saw proof that a Wookiee might be appearing in The Mandalorian Season 3 from a new source. I don’t know if the Wookiee is of any significance, if it’s a character we’re familiar with, or if even just a background character. Just thought it was worth mentioning as we all love a fuzzball.”

It would be pretty awesome to see Din Djarin embark on a mission to Kashyyyk, which is the home planet of Wookiees. Again, this is all just a rumor for now, but still… what do you all think of the possibility of seeing Wookiees in The Mandalorian?
