Fan-favorite actor Michael Biehn (Aliens, Terminator, Tombstone) will appear in Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian Season 2. According to Making Star Wars, Biehn will be playing a bounty hunter in the show, and this will be a character from The Mando’s past.

There’s no information on how big of a role the character will have, or how he will be implemented into the story, but I couldn’t be happier to see Biehn join the series! The guy has played some pretty badass characters in his career and I can’t wait to see who exactly he’ll be playing in The Mandalorian.

The report goes on to confirm that Bill Burr will return as Mayfield in the upcoming season as well. Perhaps like Mayfield, Biehn’s character could be an old friend that becomes an adversary.

The future of this series is just getting more and more exciting! Rosario Dawson was also recently cast in the live-action role of Ahsoka Tano, so that’s pretty radical. I love all of the actors that have been cast in this series and how they’ve been utilized, so far. It’s exciting to think about the awesomeness to come.

Jon Favreau confirmed that he will direct at least one episode of Season 2. It was also previously reported that Carl Weathers would direct an episode, and it’s been said that Bryce Dallas Howard returned as well. It was also recently reported that Robert Rodriguez is directing at least one episode as well.

The Mandalorian Season 2 is coming to Disney+ in the Fall and we can’t wait to watch it and see how this story continues to unfold.
